    • REQUIRED PROCEDURES

  • Cardiac pacemaker or cardioverter / defibrillator insertion, revision, replacement, and removal
  • Conversion of cardiac rhythm
  • Measurement of cardiac rhythm (percutaneous approach)
  • Cardiac ablation procedures
  • Watchman device implantation
  • Loop recorder implantation and removal

    • JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Licenses : Active Illinois license required (IMLC not accepted)
  • Board : Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiac Electrophysiology
  • DEA : Active DEA Certification required
  • Certifications : ACLS, CSR License
  • Experience : Minimum 1 year
  • Other Qualifications : Proficiency with Epic EMR

    • DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide inpatient and outpatient electrophysiology services
  • Perform diagnostic and interventional EP procedures
  • Participate in multidisciplinary care for cardiac surgery and structural heart patients
  • Consult with hospitalist and ICU teams for admitted patients
  • Deliver continuous coverage during the anticipated departure of current EP physician
  • Manage telephone call coverage with 30-minute response time
  • Support growing cardiac surgery and structural heart program
