Behavior Technician - $150 Sign-on Bonus!

This position offers a valuable opportunity to explore or start a career in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). You'll support children in developing communication, problem-solving, and social skills. We're hiring entry-level candidates as well as certified Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) who are ready to grow their careers.

What You'll Do

As a Behavior Technician at BTS, you'll work 1 : 1 with children with autism or developmental delays to build communication, social, play, and daily living skills through structured, play-based activities. Sessions take place in the child's home, clinic, or school, lasting 2-3 hours. We tailor your caseload to fit your availability and match you with age groups you're comfortable with, from toddlers to teens.

Your responsibilities include :

• Delivering one-on-one behavior support through fun, individualized activities
• Implementing behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
• Collecting and recording data on client progress accurately
• Communicating regularly with families to provide updates and support
• Participating in ongoing training, team meetings, and supervision sessions

• Competitive pay : $22-$25 / hour, based on experience. Pay increase after you get your RBT certification!

• All new behavior technicians are required to get RBT certified within 90 days. For that, we provide 40 hours of paid training to prepare you for the RBT exam & cover the costs of your RBT exam if you pass on your first try.

Qualifications

• Positive, enthusiastic attitude and a passion for working with children
• Spanish-speaking is highly preferred
• Experience with children or individuals with disabilities is a plus, but not required
• Highly preferred : Current student or recent graduate in Psychology, Early Childhood Education, Sociology, Biology, or related field.
• RBT certification is a plus, but we will cover the cost of obtaining it!
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
• Reliability and a willingness to work with a variety of clients

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Experience with children is a plus, but not required.
• This job requires reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and auto insurance.
• This job requires a CPR & First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain during onboarding)
• This job requires a TB test (within 90 days), MMR & Varicella Immunization and a Pre-employment Physical (within the past year).
• This job requires a background check (FBI & DOJ)
