Application Architect (Onsite) :

About the Role
We are seeking an Application Architect with strong IT Service Management and cloud architectural expertise. This role involves end-to-end architecture design, governance, solution alignment, and hands-on cloud engineering primarily in AWS along with modern distributed systems and data platforms.
Key Responsibilities :
- Solution Architecture & Business Alignment
- Translate complex and ambiguous business requirements into secure, scalable technical solutions.
- Leverage existing assets, IT strategy, and business needs.
- Implementation Guidance & Team Enablement
- Provide actionable architectural direction based on team capabilities and project context.
- Mentor team members, ensuring successful delivery of solution architecture.
- Strategic Collaboration & Governance
- Work closely with application owners, SMEs, product owners, engineers, and governance teams.
- Strengthen Technology Governance, Risk, and Compliance processes.
Must-Have Skills :
7+ years in IT Service Management Consulting (ITSM).Strong background designing enterprise capabilities & IT services.Ability to develop architectural artifacts (logical architecture, reference diagrams, sequence / system flow diagrams).Experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka, Distributed MQ, Kinesis).Deep knowledge of distributed systems (frontend, backend, integration, data layers).Extensive AWS architecture & hands-on implementation experience.Experience with Snowflake (warehousing, analytics, reporting).Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.Expertise in Visio for architectural documentation.Experience with TOGAF or similar frameworks.Nice to Have :
Exposure to Azure or Google Cloud Platform.Experience with tools like HOPEX, LeanIX, ServiceNow, ArchiMate.Familiarity with AI or Blockchain technologies.Knowledge of secure application design & trusted compute environments.Strong understanding of architecture patterns & standards.
