JOB RELATIONSHIPS

A licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner responsible for delivering all modalities of Respiratory Therapy. Responsible to Cardiopulmonary Director or designee.

DEFINITION OF POSITION

A Registered Respiratory Therapist is responsible for evaluating and implementing the respiratory care of assigned patients and performing diagnostic pulmonary, cardiac and neurodiagnostic studies.

QUALIFICATIONS

Professional

Current North Carolina license to practice respiratory care in North Carolina.

Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification..

ACLS, PALS & NRP within 2 years of employment.
