American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Tech with at least 2 years of recent interventional scrubbing experience and BLS / ACLS certification for an adult cardiac unit.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in a facility with 2 dedicated cath labs and 1 hybrid ORAdult and geriatric patient population requiring interventional proceduresProcedures performed include IABP, Rotablator, Shockwave, structural interventions, PFO closure, TAVR, MitraClip, and WatchmanUses GE Innova IGS, Phillips, GE MacLab, IVUS, FFR equipment and documents in EpicDay shift with 4x10 hour schedule from 6 : 30 AM to 5 : 00 PMOn-call required up to 10 weekdays and 3 weekends per contract cycleWeekend and holiday coverage required as scheduledTravelers expected to float within the hospital based on scope of experienceResponsibilities include performing a range of interventional cardiac procedures across multiple labsCandidates must be willing to float to other areas within their skill set as neededCPI certification required as part of onboarding complianceFirst-time travelers are acceptedReturn travelers must be away for 6 months and former staff must be gone for 12 months to be eligibleHoliday assignments are required as scheduledBlock scheduling or scheduling restrictions cannot be requestedRequested time off must be submitted with application and cannot be changed once offered\n \n Requirements\n
Minimum 2 years of recent cath lab or interventional scrubbing experience requiredActive MD or compact state license required if applicableBLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA only)ARRT-R and / or RCIS requiredExperience with interventional procedures and related technologyProficiency in Epic EMR, GE Innova IGS, Phillips, GE MacLab, IVUS, and FFRTwo satisfactory professional references from recent employers requiredMust reside at least 50 miles from facility to qualify for travel\n Benefits\n
