Quality Technician

Quality Technician – Hanover, PA The Opportunity : Our client is a high-tech (metals-based) contract manufacturer who has hired us to seek out a Quality Technician for their Hanover, PA location. This position is responsible for performing standardized quality control checks to ensure all products meet company standards for safety, accuracy, and performance. Key Responsibilities Perform First Article Inspections (FAIs) using customer prints and measurement tools Manage quality documentation including control plans, FAIs, blueprints, and inspection records Support non-conformance control, MRB processes, and Return Material Authorizations Calibrate, maintain, and verify testing equipment to ensure measurement accuracy Qualifications Required : High school diploma or equivalent Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical documents Proficiency with manual measuring tools (calipers, height gauges, pin gauges, tape measures) Strong attention to detail with effective written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Preferred : Associate or technical degree Previous experience in a technical or quality control role Familiarity with sheet metal operations and ISO 9001 standards Experience with CMM or Faro Arm measurement equipment Proficiency with PDFs, DXF drawings, and 3D models (STEP files, SolidWorks) Experience with ERP systems Check out our website at www.availasearch.com!
