The client is a leading financial services firm known for innovation and strong regulatory compliance.This role requires 3 days on-site per week in their NYC office, offering a great opportunity to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.

Job Description

Candidste must be bilingual in Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) to support effective communication within the team and stakeholders.

• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver tailored solutions.
• Develop and maintain scalable, reliable daily data pipelines using tools like Apache Airflow.
• Build reusable data services and reporting platforms with Python, Django, and JavaScript.
• Create and manage external data interfaces using RESTful APIs and message queue technologies.
• Support cloud-based data infrastructure including EC2, Docker, RDS, Redshift, and S3.

The Successful Applicant

• Minimum 3 years of experience in data engineering with strong Python and SQL skills.
• Proficient in building and maintaining scalable data pipelines and working with cloud technologies like AWS.
• Experience with data processing tools such as Pandas, Apache Airflow, and web frameworks like Django.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, especially in debugging and troubleshooting.
• Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering data-driven solutions.

What's on Offer

The base salary for this role ranges from $120,000 to $140,000, reflecting the candidate's experience and skills. This is complemented by additional benefits and potential performance-based bonuses.
