Job description5+ years of experience in a public accounting firm. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or relevant field required. CPA license is a plus. Experience with CCH programs is a plus. Knowledge of QuickBooks, Microsoft Office programs, etc. Professional and effective oral and written communication skills and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work well within a team environment. Integrity, accountability, and confidentiality. Excellent analytical, organizational skills, and attention to detail. Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and collaborative spirit Competitive compensation, commensurate with experience. 401(k) plan with employer match. Senior Attest Accountant – Offices in Shelton, and Hamden
The Innovative CPA Group is one of the fastest growing firms in Connecticut, and we are looking for a Senior Attest Accountant to join our team in either our Shelton, CT or Hamden, CT location. Essential Attest Responsibilities :
- Ability to independently review and prepare financial statements & footnote disclosures for audits, reviews, and compilation engagements.
- Perform accounting research with the aid of research tools and communicate with partners and / or clients.
- Manage and build strong business client relationships, including running engagements that include financial statements.
- Demonstrated ability to guide and develop junior staff through feedback, coaching, and training.
