Project Accountant PT

We are a family owned and operated General Contractor in North San Diego County, Escondido specializing in high-quality Retail and Commercial Construction.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Part-Time Project Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will support project managers and accounting staff by handling accounts payable / receivable, contract billing, and project close-out tasks. Key Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain project files (electronic and physical).
• Process subcontractor and supplier invoices; ensure compliance before payments are released.
• Prepare project billings, update schedules of values, and support documentation requirements.
• Enter and maintain billing, payments, and purchase orders in Sage 100.
• Track waivers, joint check agreements, and compliance documentation.
• Follow up with clients on past due receivables and subcontractors on outstanding requirements.
• Assist with project close-out, including releases, reconciliations, and archiving.
• Maintain and assist with SOP creation for new processes / vendor portals, etc.
