Job Title : Order Fulfillment Associate

Location : 50 Hub Drive, Melville, NY 11747 (Onsite)

Duration : 6+ Months Contract on W2

Job Description : Role :

  • With minimal supervision, the Order Fulfillment Associate will support daily operations by ensuring timely order processing and fulfillment.
  • This role involves leveraging knowledge of order processes to refine business workflows and maintain efficient and accurate order fulfillment for smooth operations and timely delivery.

  • Responsibilities Include :

  • Customer & Sales Team Support : Act as the main contact for customer and Sales Team issues, identify appropriate resources for resolution, delegate or address responses as needed to ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Order Processing : Receive and process orders for materials and merchandise, utilizing order tracking and CRM systems to manage customer information, record prices, monitor delivery dates, and track inventory status.
  • Documentation : Prepare order-related documentation, confirm orders, verify unit prices, and update shipping statuses, notifying customers of any backorders or delays.
  • Account Maintenance : Work with Customer Maintenance to open and update accounts daily, ensuring all account information is accurate.
  • Daily Reports & Notifications : Run daily sales reports, notify accounts about upcoming styles, manage invoicing, and track and maintain documentation for each account.
  • Coordination : Coordinate with internal departments regarding order status, shipping dates, product availability, and backorders. Support order fulfillment by managing order processing, updates, and tracking inventory and shipments.
  • Financial Adjustments : Process chargebacks, credit memos, debit memos, returns, and handle consignment accounts, including opening, closing, and managing consignment inventory.
  • The ideal candidate typically possesses :

  • 1-2 years of experience in customer service or administrative support.
  • Proficiency in a Windows environment, with skills in word processing, spreadsheet applications, and data entry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with customers and colleagues.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage a heavy workload with a high level of focus and productivity.
