Automation and Controls Engineer

Job Summary

Large manufacturing company with locations nationwide is targeting an Automation and Controls Engineer for their facility located just north of Columbus, OH. Qualified candidates will have hands-on experience with industrial automation such as PLCs, HMIs, VFDs. Bachelors degree in Engineering or related technical training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, and maintain Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Human Machine Interface (HMI) systems.
• Design, install, and troubleshoot electrical control circuits and panels.
• Configure and troubleshoot AC & DC drives and apply knowledge of AC & DC motor theory.
• Set up and troubleshoot industrial Ethernet networks and manage database / server programming.
• Lead and manage projects from conception to completion, utilizing expertise in instrumentation and interpreting electrical schematics.
