Pay

Birch Agency is currently hiring a Special Education Paraprofessional to work near Palos Park, Illinois for the school year . This is a full-time, in-person position supporting students in PreK5th grade .

Position

Qualified candidates will provide support to students with a range of needs. Responsibilities may

Assisting non-verbal students with daily living skills

Providing academic support in small groups or one-on-one

Supporting students with behavioral needs under teacher / BCBA guidance

Maintaining a safe, positive learning environment

Active Illinois Paraprofessional License

Experience working with students with disabilities preferred

Strong communication skills, patience, and compassion
