We have a very unique opportunity for a FULLY REMOTE Chief Fiduciary Officer for a very unique boutique trust shop based in the state of Indiana with a Funeral and Cemetery Trust Services specialization. They are looking for someone who will be overseeing and developing a team of professionals that are dedicated to administering trusts and estates in a fiduciary capacity. This role is a fully remote position but will require some travel 2 -3 days a month. This person will complete risk assessments, conduct monthly compliance monitoring, review regulatory changes, and respond to regulatory inquiries and exams. This individual will serve as the Chief Compliance Officer long term, but they would like this person to also handle some business development (that’s both new clients and maintain existing clients). This person will maintain and establish policies and procedures to ensure the trust company makes prudent fiduciary decisions across the business, including with respect to new business review, administration of accounts in accordance with the relevant governing document, and overall risk management for the division. A JD is not required. This position sits on the senior executive team and reports to the President of the trust company.
