Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Respiratory Therapist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Start Date : 01 / 05 / 2026 Duration : 13 weeks 48 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, evenings Employment Type : Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - 13 Week Contract Job Description This is a 13-week contract position for a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in the Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics specialty. The position involves working in multiple care settings, including adult critical care, the emergency department, neonatology, and pediatrics, with preferred experience in trauma Level I and II facilities. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients with a variety of conditions. Administer medications and oxygen therapy, including nebulizers and metered dose inhalers. Manage ventilator settings and troubleshoot high-pressure alarms. Assist in procedures such as bronchoscopy and intubation. Perform chest physiotherapy and manage tracheostomies. Interpret arterial blood gases and ensure the delivery of high-quality respiratory care. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). State licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist. ACLS and BLS certifications required; NRP and PALS certifications preferred. Experience with specialized equipment such as Hamilton G5, Respironics V60, and Optiflow is preferred. Schedule This position requires a mid-shift schedule, working 4x12-hour shifts from 15 : 00 to 03 : 30. The RRT will also cover every other weekend. Why ARMStaffing?
