Our client in West Palm Beach is seeking a highly experienced, detail-oriented Housekeeper to oversee the day-to-day upkeep and overall presentation of her home. Must be a self-starter and have high-end private home experience.

This is a full-charge position requiring a polished skill set, discretion, and a proactive approach to managing all aspects of household care. The ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness, organization, and operational efficiency from the outset.

Key Responsibilities

Daily deep cleaning and maintenance of all rooms, surfaces, including marble, and furnishings - 4,000 square foot home

Laundry, ironing, fabric care, wardrobe management, and seasonal closet rotation

Household organization, including pantry, linen closets, and storage spaces

Keep appliances and BBQ grill clean

Remove expired food and update grocery shopping list

Oversight of cleaning supplies and household inventory; reordering as needed

Care of fine finishes, high-end appliances, and specialty surfaces (e.g., marble, silver, crystal)

Making beds with hospital corners and maintaining hotel-level presentation

Coordinating with vendors, deliveries, and maintenance providers

Shopping for groceries; running other errands, including occasional pick up or drop off of principal at the airport

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of professional housekeeping experience in a formal, private home

Self-starter who can identify projects and take charge

Laundress skills

Experienced in the proper care of marble surfaces

Excellent references from previous employers

Meticulous attention to detail and pride in presentation

Familiarity with household protocols and discretion with confidential information

Strong organizational skills with the ability to self-direct and prioritize tasks

Valid driver’s license

Legal to work in the U.S.
