Physician / Psychiatry - Geriatric / Washington / Permanent / Psychiatrist Job

Facilities are IP - SNFs, ALFs or rehab. Patient base is primarily geriatrics with some adults. Treatable conditions : dementia, depression, anxiety, possibly end of life counseling / treatment.

Travel within one hour from their home could be required and they usually are working in multiple facilities.

Collaborative work environment. Psychiatrists will work with PMHNPs and psychologists to provide the best outcomes for the patients they treat.

Broader practice scope includes having their own patient base plus overseeing PMHNPs.

Schedule is primarily Monday-Friday, no nights / weekends. In some cases it may require limited call, that will depend on the needs for the region.
