Overview Creative Director, Brand Design role at Meta with Creative X leading brand design for a portfolio of Reality Labs brands. This leader will lead a team of tenured brand designers, cultivate a vision for how the portfolio of brands manifests across surfaces and integrated channels, and guide internal and external agencies. The role aims to develop timeless brands, elevate design craft, and demonstrate advocacy for design-led experiences and systems. You will have a background in brand architecture, craft and design thinking, and a proven track record of leading integrated efforts in a deadline-focused, iterative environment. As a member of the Creative X design leadership team, you will grow our evolving design practice within consumer marketing and guide the broader team to redefine how design is experienced.
Base pay range $174,000.00 / yr - $246,000.00 / yr
Responsibilities Define and lead the design vision for a horizontal cross-portfolio of brands in the Reality Labs Portfolio (Wearables and Metaverse)
Lead a team and work hands-on to develop original, breakthrough brand behaviors and design solutions that serve a global audience
Elevate and raise the quality of design craft
Inspire, enable and energize an industry-leading design team
Advocate for design thinking, solutions and consistency for the brand design systems
Work seamlessly across organizational structures, partnering with Marketing, Product and Business leadership to develop holistic brand systems
Minimum Qualifications 12+ years of experience in design, building consumer brands globally
5+ years of demonstrated people management experience coaching and developing team members
Experience building timeless brands through brand architecture
Experience manifesting strategy through design systems
Experience managing and leading work within an agency, or similar environment
Experience across integrated design work : traditional, product and experiential
Experience collaborating with cross-functional partners
Experience partnering with and influencing Chief Marketing Officers and other executive stakeholders
Experience hiring talent and developing design teams
Experience in design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
