Automotive Technician Deery Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Iowa City is a locally owned dealership, in business since 2011. We are looking for an automotive technician to join our growing team. If you have prior experience as an automotive technician we’d love to visit! This job offers an opportunity to be part of a fast-paced environment with one of the fastest growing, well recognized brands in the automotive industry. Service Technician - Job Responsibilities :

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including : Electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning and transmission.
• Perform quality inspections of vehicles to identify necessary and recommended repairs.
• Test drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Communicate directly with the service advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs to proper specifications.
• Maintain a clean working environment.
• Maintain and complete all Chrysler training and certifications (we provide paid training). Requirements :
• Experience as an automotive technician
• Working knowledge of shop equipment
• Shop tools
