Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Okemos, MI, supporting a high school caseload of 45 students. This contract role runs from August through May, offering a 35-hour workweek at one school location.
Key Responsibilities :
- Deliver individualized speech-language therapy services to students in grades K-12.
- Manage a caseload of 45 high school students, providing both direct and indirect therapy hours.
- Collaborate with district staff to develop and implement IEPs using the established system.
- Participate in paid team meetings and complete required administrative duties within allotted time.
- Maintain compliance with district and state credentialing and fingerprinting requirements.
- Engage in professional development as offered by the district.
Qualifications and Experience :
Valid SLP certification appropriate for school settings.Experience working with a diverse K-12 student population.Ability to work independently with a caseload in a contract capacity.Familiarity with school-based IEP systems and therapeutic space requirements.Comfortable with virtual interview and onboarding processes.Location :
