Nexus Family Healing is hiring a Youth Care Professional to our Girl's Group Home in Andover, MN!
Willow Trails Group Home is located in Andover, MN and is a part of Nexus-Mille Lacs. We offer a trauma-informed, family-centered, nationally recognized treatment for struggling teenage girls in a Group Home setting where we work with our youth in character growth, emotional healing, and social maturity while confronting the core issues that resulted in their placement. Effective and positive behavior techniques are incorporated to promote healing in addition to addressing underlying trauma and mental health needs.

Pay and Schedule :
- Part-Time hours
- Available schedules : Every other weekend 9am-9pm OR Fridays 2pm-10pm and weekends 9am-9pm
- $18 an hour!

Provide supervision of client daily activities and behavior according to established trauma-informed, strengths-based guidelines and proceduresParticipate with coworkers as a team on implementation of trauma-informed, strengths-based treatment plans and therapeutic servicesEnsure clients’ emotional and physical safety and collaborate with coworkers to maintain an environment that is positive, respectful, clean, strengths-based, and therapeuticParticipate in off-campus client activities and assist in the transportation of client for home visits, doctor appointments, planned recreational activities, etc.Work effectively with clients’ families / support networks to reinforce positive family partnerships; follow established protocols in the use of family engagement and involvement techniquesRequirements : Required :
High School diploma or GED requiredMinimum 18 years of age 21+ years of age preferredValid driver’s license required. Must meet state regulating agency and Nexus Family Healing driving requirementsExperience working with families and trauma-exposed children and adolescents in a residential treatment / counseling capacityPreferred :
21+ years of age preferredExperience working with families and trauma-exposed children in a group home setting highly preferredPhysical Demands
