Job descriptionBachelor's degree in mechanical engineering 15+ years of U.S.-based engineering and managerial experience Solid record of accomplishment in managing and executing large, multi-faceted engineering projects Strong mechanical design engineering experience in the commercial sector Knowledge of local, state, and national codes Deep knowledge of mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems Proficiency in energy modeling tools (eQUEST, Trane Trace, ENERGY STAR, Carrier HAP) Eligible to work in the US without need for sponsorship Ability to effectively manage time and be comfortable with frequent deadlines and transitions Ability to effectively work with others in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas Strong technical writing skills and technical documentation skills with the ability to prepare presentations and reports Fluent in English Problem-solving mindset with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple tasks simultaneously Ability to manage and direct the workflow of others Strong financial management skills and business acumen Ability to work collaboratively with others Willing to participate in continuing education by completing professional development classes and attending seminars Professional Engineer (PE) licensure MBA or other certification by accredited groups Experience in energy efficiency, sustainability, and design-build construction Proficiency in AutoCAD Revit experience Knowledge of the USGBC LEED Rating system and standards

Our client is currently hiring a full-time Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Camden County, NJ. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to take a leadership role in designing and managing mechanical systems across a variety of projects. Pay : $115,000–$130,000 annually

YOUR SCHEDULE
This role is full-time, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 9 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM. This position must be able to work out of the Camden County office at least three days a week.
YOUR DAY
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will lead the design and coordination of mechanical systems, manage project teams, and serve as Engineer of Record when required. You'll conduct energy modeling, ensure code compliance, and collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality, on-budget solutions. Your leadership will directly impact project success and team development.
