About the Role
This supervisory position oversees the daily operations of the center, supports a dedicated team of educators and helps families achieve personal and developmental goals through collaborative, community-focused engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support center staff
- Manage day-to-day operations, including safety and compliance, and collaborative partnerships
- Coordinate and carry out home visits, family engagement efforts, and individualized support planning
- Lead enrollment efforts and ensure full program participation (ERSEA)
- Develop strong relationships with families, staff, and community agencies
- Ensure the implementation of state, federal, and agency regulations
- Promote a safe, clean, welcoming, and developmentally appropriate environment
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with Head Start performance standards
Minimum Qualifications
Must have at least 1 ½ years of experience in a leadership / management role or formal training in a related field.High school diploma or GED (additional education preferred)Valid driver's license and access to insured transportationMust meet background, health, and safety screening requirementsCPR / First Aid certified (or willingness to obtain)General computer literacyPreferred Qualifications
