Job descriptionAssist in the preparation of food items according to established recipes and standards. Perform cooking tasks as needed, including grilling, frying, and baking. Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen by washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly. Help with bussing tables and serving food during events or busy service periods. Support banquet operations by preparing large quantities of food in a timely manner. Ensure all food handling practices comply with health and safety regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during meal preparation and service. Assist with inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting shortages. Strong experience in food preparation, cooking, and cleaning within a culinary environment. Familiarity with food handling procedures and safety regulations. Previous experience in restaurants, hotels, or catering services is preferred. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on hospitality and customer service. Experience with banquet service is a plus. Knowledge of various cooking techniques and kitchen equipment operation. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
