Job Responsibilities

• Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs to create personalized therapy strategies that help them achieve their rehabilitation goals
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply research-driven interventions to optimize patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and everyday activities
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nursing teams to deliver holistic, well-rounded care
• Educate Patients and Families: Provide instruction to patients and their families on effective therapy methods to encourage ongoing progress at home
• Track and Assess Outcomes: Monitor patient progress and modify treatment strategies as necessary to ensure optimal recovery

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Continuing education and advanced certifications are highly encouraged and supported

Certifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is necessary
