Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Long Term Care Opportunity

Position Details

3x12 hour shift schedule

Evening / Nights, weekends and holidays per unit needs

Location : 150 Highland Ave, Rochester, NY 14620

Local candidates accepted

Position Overview

RN for 20 residents, 8-10 per LPN and 4-6 per CNA

Residents will be geriatric long term care with wound care but no trachs

No acute care needs will be in the facility

Opportunity to provide care for older adults in a long term care environment

Duties and Responsibilities

Direct patient care including medication administration

Oversight of CNA colleagues

Providing care with dignity and respect

Work independently while utilizing good critical thinking skills

Required Qualifications

NYS LPN license

BLS (American Heart Association Only)

At least 2 years experience in long term care setting

Skills Requirements

LPN License (NY License ONLY) - Required

BLS (American Heart Association ONLY) - Required

Two (2) Years' Experience - Required, 2 Years duration
