Job Description
The Proposal Procurement Lead (estimator) is an individual contributor role that is responsible for determining the current / expected material costs of Veolia Water Tech-supplied equipment to establish the budget during the project's execution.
This role can be performed from any of our key sites in the U.S.A. or Canada. Key sites : Trevose, Pennsylvania, Norfolk, Virginia, Minnetonka, Minnesota, Boulder, Colorado, Houston, Texas, Oakville, Ontario
Duties & Responsibilities :
Be a Strategic Partner to help to WIN projects, ensuring successful execution and improving margins
- Work in conjunction with different stakeholders such as Project Proposal / Sales, Category Team, Engineering, Logistics,  Quality, and Procurement  to develop the best and optimized cost strategy for the projects, which include materials and procurement labor
 - Coordinate and lead project teams, focusing on procurement, during the tender phase
 - Guide project cost strategy utilizing quotations, vendor contracts, material costing database, cost standards and historical data
 - Develop and maintain cost standards, tools, and records to assist in future costing
 - Collaborate with project execution teams on cost strategy transfer and REX (Return-on-Experience)
 - Evaluate risk and contingencies to be included in proposal material costing; Develop and maintain familiarity with current and expected market conditions that affect costs
 - Maintain skills for the utilization of Company software, such as Google Suite and SAP
 - Adhere to the Company Values, Ethics, and Safety Policies
 - Ability to provide Cost estimation on 3rd party material cost

Required :
3 + years of combined work experience in the Water & Wastewater sector or other EPC environment as a Mechanical or Commercial engineer.Project management, Procurement, and Supply chain background / experience.Bachelor's Degree in EngineeringDesired Skills and Qualifications :
Candidate with an MBA, Master's Degree, and / or certification like CPM / CPSM, PMP, etc.Solid understanding of procurement sub-functions and water treatment technologies (products and operations).Working Conditions
Annual travel required.

Compensation - The salary range is tied to the market for similarly benchmarked roles. The range is not an absolute, but a guide, and offers will be based on the individual candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and market conditions, as well as internal peer equity.
