Base pay range

$110,000.00 / yr - $125,000.00 / yr

The Position

As a Network Solutions Engineer at Lightyear you will play a critical role in growing Lightyears revenue by helping customers solve network engineering problems. You will review technical aspects of Lightyear customer network service orders, assist customers in designing telecom solutions, and ensure an optimal network procurement and implementation experience. The ideal candidate for this role will have a demonstrated passion for network engineering and / or telecom solutions engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Design & Implementation : Assist with the design and implementation of customer networks, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency across solutions spanning Internet / WAN connectivity, Voice, and Colocation
• System Optimization : Analyze and improve existing Lightyear platform process and services for the ideal customer experience.
• Collaboration : Work with Sales, Implementation Specialists, and other internal stakeholders to align technical designs with business needs
• Compliance & Standards : Ensure all designs and implementations adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements
• Innovation & Research : Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation.
