About The Position

Specialty accepted : Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (Family Practice or Internal Medicine)

Start date or shifts : ASAP – ongoing; events typically 8 hours per day, starting between 7 : 00 a.m. and 8 : 00 a.m.

Daily schedule : Group events on weekends; 8-hour shifts; may include travel between military base sites

Practice setting : military base or group event sites

Types of procedures : Physical exams, vision screenings, immunizations, pre- and post-deployment health screenings

Ages : Adult service members

Additional information : Must hold an active state license in the state of work; supervising physician required in applicable states; must be comfortable giving injections; strong computer skills required for same-day documentation; BLS or CPR certification required; travel arranged by client; onboarding includes credentialing packet, HIPAA and supervising attestations, and training modules; credentialing turnaround approximately 5 days
