Position Summary
As a Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN, you will provide direct and compassionate care to patients in a hospital setting. Youll be responsible for monitoring cardiac rhythms, assessing patient conditions, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure the highest level of care.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients on Med-Surg / Telemetry units.
Continuously monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry readings.
Administer medications and perform treatments as ordered.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
Document all care provided using facility-approved EMR systems.
Communicate effectively with physicians, families, and care teams.
Ensure patient safety and compliance with all hospital policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Education : Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (ADN or BSN).
Licensure : Current, unencumbered RN license in the state of [State].
Certifications : BLS and ACLS (required); Telemetry or NIHSS (preferred).
Experience : Minimum of 1 year of recent Med-Surg Telemetry experience preferred.
Excellent critical thinking and organizational skills.
