Hair Stylist / Barber

We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in cosmetology and barbering, with expertise in various hair styling techniques. You will be responsible for providing exceptional hair care services while ensuring a welcoming and professional environment for our clients.

• Responsibilities
• Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and hair extensions.
• Utilize knowledge of color theory to achieve desired results for clients.
• Maintain sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations and salon policies.
• Provide excellent customer service by understanding client needs and offering personalized recommendations.
• Manage front desk operations, including scheduling appointments and utilizing salon software such as MINDBODY.
• Mentor junior stylists and assist in their professional development.
• Upsell products and services to enhance client experience and salon revenue.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling, makeup application, and nail care to provide clients with current options.
• Handle retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently while applying retail math principles.
• Skills
• Proficient in hair styling techniques including straight razor cuts, hair threading, and eyelash extensions.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
• Experience with store management practices to ensure smooth salon operations.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Knowledge of salon software systems for appointment management and client records.
