Responsibilities Position is in a 44-bed pediatric ICU at a teaching hospital Cares for surgical, trauma, and medical pediatric critical care patients from neonate through young adult Patient ratios range from 1 : 1 to 1 : 3 based on acuity Uses oscillators, ICP monitoring, EVDs, and CRRT Epic charting experience highly preferred 12-hour night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM Float required to all inpatient units including critical care, NICU, and Acute Care Every other weekend (Friday-Sunday) is required No on-call responsibilities; holidays required if needed Care for a diverse population including neurosurgical, general surgical, trauma, and respiratory pediatric patients Training provided for code phone use Work alongside students in a teaching environment Any professional scrubs acceptable; jewelry and hair must not interfere with performance or safety Offensive tattoos must be covered Flu vaccine is required with no exemptions Requirements Active WI or compact RN license AHA BLS and AHA PALS certifications required At least 1 year of recent PICU nursing experience Recent experience with trachs and vents required Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-611483.
