EY-Parthenon – Deals – Financial Diligence – Sell Side – Director
Location : Atlanta, Boston, Cincinnati, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, Nashville, New York, Philadelphia, San Francisco, San Jose, Seattle. EY-Parthenon’s Deals – Financial Diligence – Sell Side team provides supportive leadership on large, high-profile divestiture projects, including carve-outs, across a broad range of industries.
Responsibilities
As a Director with EY-Parthenon’s Deals – Financial Diligence - Sell Side team, you’ll :
- Support the execution of transformational deals, working as part of a team to solve complex challenges.
- Develop and cultivate relationships with complex client teams; provide leadership and guidance to staff and seniors to support career development.
- Assist in the preparation of carve-out financial statements to be audited and related SEC filings.
- Collaborate across EY-Parthenon service lines including International Tax, Transaction Services, and Valuation Modeling and Economics.
- Lead and contribute to large, high-profile divestiture projects across various industry sectors.
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with 5 years of related experience; or a graduate degree with approximately 4 years of related experience.Significant public accounting experience; excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights.Ability to prioritize on projects and adapt quickly to new challenges and concepts.Solid negotiation and influencing skills; ability to develop long-lasting relationships internally and externally.Residence or commutable distance to the office location; willingness to travel and work beyond standard hours as needed.Proven ability to identify and assess business and technical issues, distill key insights, and deliver clear, strategic recommendations to executives.Preferred / Ideal
Proven track record in audit and / or mergers or acquisitions transaction roles.Active CPA certification.Experience in a large professional services organization; established networking skills in a relevant industry.Knowledge of firm-approved AI tools in a business setting, including Microsoft Copilot.What We Look For
