Provides healthcare services to the surrounding region. Offers a childbirth center, cancer center, nephrology unit, pediatric unit, inpatient behavioral health unit, day surgery center, and extensive imaging and lab testing services. Recognized for excellence in healthcare and awarded for its beautiful facilities. Located in a region known for its rivers, golf courses, lakes, and national parks. Offers various outdoor attractions and historical sightseeing opportunities. The facility has a unit profile that includes 17 beds and 2 triage rooms. Patient ratios are in line with industry standards. Routine procedures and duties are performed with minimal supervision. Charge-level experience is necessary for this role. Practicing within a community hospital setting with a regional mission is essential. Experience with cervical exams and infant delivery is required. The role includes the stabilization of neonates and troubleshooting high-acuity situations. Good triage assessment skills are preferred. Common diagnoses and treatments involve labor, gestational diabetes, hypertension, intrauterine growth restriction, macrosomia, and substance use in pregnancy. Candidates must possess an ADN or BSN.
