Watsontown Brick, a General Shale company and leading manufacturer of brick and sustainable building materials, is seeking a motivated Shipping and Customer Service Representative to join our team in Columbia, SC.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Print and process load tickets for outbound shipments.
- Receive and verify inbound materials per audit and inventory guidelines.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with cycle counts.
- Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, and in person.
- Perform data entry and order processing in SAP (shipping, receiving, CPU, RMA, IC, etc.).
- Support inside sales, including product selection and matching brick, stone, and mortar.
- Process cash sales and maintain accurate records.
- Communicate effectively with sales, drivers, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide administrative support and assist with departmental needs.
- Follow all safety, health, and quality standards.
EDUCATION :
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.WORK EXPERIENCE :
25 years of customer service experience; inside sales or shipping / receiving preferred.SAP experience a plus.Strong multitasking skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Self-motivated with a commitment to safety, accuracy, and quality.SKILLS :
