CNC Machinist (2nd Shift - Direct Hire)

TekPro Engineering is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist with experience operating Mori Seiki Lathes to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to producing high-precision parts. This role requires proficiency in CNC programming, setup, and operation to meet production requirements efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, program, and operate Mori Seiki CNC Lathes to produce precision parts.

• Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical instructions.

• Adjust machine settings and tooling to maintain quality and efficiency.

• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC equipment.

• Conduct quality inspections using measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.).

• Maintain detailed production records and ensure compliance with safety standards.

• Collaborate with engineers and production teams to optimize machining processes.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of [X] years of experience as a CNC Machinist, specifically with Mori Seiki Lathes.

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T.

• Experience with G-code programming and CAD/CAM software is a plus.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in CNC machining is preferred.
