Material Handler

Ryder is immediately hiring a permanent full time material handler in Frankfort, Indiana.

Warehouse forklift operator / driver positions pay weekly.

Hourly pay $19.00 per hour. Additional pay : $2.50 per hour when working C shift.

Schedule : C shift Wednesday - Saturday 4 : 30 pm - 3 : 00 am.

We want the right warehouse associate to join us at Ryder and work in the safest supply chain environment with state of the art equipment.

Products being handled : food products.

Equipment : sit down forklift, electric pallet jack (walkie rider).

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One (1) year or more previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Must have adequate math skills.
• Able to recognize and read location codes and product codes.
• Meet and exceed established Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors).
• Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills.
• Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices.
