GENERAL OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Insures that all equipment is started up and shut down in line with company safety guidelines for equipment under power per Cal–OSHA requirements.
- Help with the execution of improvement of process quality, increased efficiencies and reduction of waste as directed by maintenance leadership.
- Assists and supports technicians and operators in meeting departmental and company goals.
- Executes preventative maintenance program on all equipment and insures that all records are maintained as directed by maintenance leadership.
- Locates and diagnoses failures, replaces defective components and insures efficient operation of all equipment as directed by maintenance leadership.
- Recommends, and maintains proper spare part inventory levels as directed by maintenance leadership.
- Helps in the installation of equipment as necessary.
- Calibrates testing instruments and installed or repaired equipment per manufacturer’s specifications as directed by maintenance leadership.
- Provides training for all operators on proper equipment operations.
- Assists Plant Management in maintaining departmental efficiencies and yields.
DESIRED SKILLS REQUIRED
Experience / Knowledge Electrical (24V – 480V, AC, single and 3 phase power, DC voltage, control systems, motor controls, knowledge of circuits, wiring diagrams and drawingsKnowledge of electro-mechanical systems.Must have excellent communication skills and be able to work well with othersMust be able to diagnose and rectify basic mechanical issues.MINIMUN REQUIREMENTS
