Job Description
AHRC NYC is seeking a Regional Sales Manager (RSM) for their Brooklyn Employment Business Services division. The Regional Sales Manager (RSM), under the supervision of the Assistant Director and Director of Corporate Partnerships & Business Development, will be responsible for overseeing a geographic region assigned by the Director of EBS and / or Vice President of Business and Program Development. The primary objective of the RSM is to create jobs for the people EBS provides services to, to identify and build a team of Account Executives who will bring jobs, promote our programs, and establish partnerships throughout the city with the goal of promoting and creating jobs for people we support.
Salary : $70,000 – $90,000 per year. This position also includes a generous benefits package.
Essential Responsibilities
- Oversee and supervise the Marketing and Sales Region assigned
- Ensure that the region and Account Executives under supervision meet quarterly job placement goals
- Develop employment opportunities for people supported as outlined in Addendum #1
- Promote a positive image / knowledge of AHRC’s Employment & Business Services
- Hire and supervise Account Executives (AE)
- Assess performance of Account Executives, train new marketing staff, and coordinate placement activity
- Ensure excellent customer service to customers
- Actively participate in internal and external networking events
- Organize networking events to develop linkages with potential employers and promote AHRC brand
- Develop and maintain marketing strategy targeting successful creation of jobs for people supported
- Create action plans targeting specific business lines, employers, job types, etc.
- Develop and maintain valued relationships with businesses / employers, maintaining and expanding customer base
- Provide best job matching for job seekers and employers
- Ensure customized employment is a priority for the marketing team
- Coordinate the day‑to‑day responsibilities of Account Executives
- Bring new business in the form of a service contract that provides employment to two or more people supported on a quarterly basis
- Develop employment opportunities for existing NYSID workers in experienced porter positions; transition at least six employees from NYSID contracts
- Travel throughout the 5 boroughs and in‑and‑out of state as needed
- Prepare and deliver marketing presentations as required
- Other responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Arts or Science plus 5 years of marketing / sales / related experience or Associate’s degree with 7 years of experienceMaster’s degree preferredExcellent oral and written communication skillsStrong motivational skillsExperience working with people with disabilities / youth a plusAbility to collaborate with senior EBS operations and program managers, develop sites, disseminate information, and provide top‑quality customer service to all EBS customersProven track record (professional portfolio) in securing service contracts and developing employment opportunitiesNew York or Tri‑State driver’s license in good standing preferredBenefits
