The individual utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate comprehensive care provided to selected patient populations and their families. The Registered Nurse-Hospital is expected to demonstrate excellent clinical, problem-solving, interpersonal and leadership skills and make decisions consistent with hospital policies, department protocols / guidelines, and the Wisconsin Nurse Practice Act.\n\nSHIFT\n\nOne 6p-6a shift a week and one 7a-7p or 10a-10p shift a week.\n\nJOB QUALIFICATIONS\n\nEDUCATION\n\nFor positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.\n\nMinimum Required : Diploma or degree in nursing.\n\nPreferred / Optional : Bachelor's degree in nursing.\n\nEXPERIENCE\n\nMinimum Required : None\n\nPreferred / Optional : Two years' hospital nursing experience.\n\nThose inpatient facilities participating in the Clinical Nurse Advancement Portfolio (CNAP) clinical ladder, refer to program documents for eligibility to advance / maintain CNAP level.\n\nCERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES\n\nThe following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position.\n\nMinimum Required : \n

• Current Registered Nurse License awarded by the applicable state or Nurse Compact License.\n
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of employment.\n
