Materials Planner / Buyer

A global leader in engineered products is seeking a Materials Planner to join its team in Duncan, SC . In this role, you will report directly to the Value Stream Planner and ensure that materials are available to meet production schedules. Hours : Monday - Friday, 7am - 3 : 30pm

Responsibilities :

• Monitor and manage component and inventory availability for assembly production.
• Identify and resolve Bill of Materials (BOM) and shortages for new and ongoing orders.
• Schedule purchasing activities and issue purchase orders (POs).
• Work with suppliers to confirm and expedite delivery schedules.
• Maintain inventory accuracy in the MRP system (Dynamics 365 preferred).
• Monitor SKU for shortages.
• Manage PO (purchase orders).
