Tellers are critical to the success of the bank; they are the first point of contact for most customers and are expected to provide exceptional customer service by accurately and effectively processing routine transactions including cashing checks, accepting deposits and withdrawals, and processing loan payments and money transfers. Tellers promote and cross sell other bank products and services by referring to other departments.
