CGP: HR/Payroll Generalist

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Human Resources Payroll Generalist to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $25.00 to $32.00 per hour.
Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.
• Administer payroll processing through ADP, collaborating with finance to guarantee timely and precise payments.
• Manage onboarding and offboarding activities, including paperwork, orientations, and exit interviews.
• Oversee benefits enrollment, assist employees with inquiries, and coordinate with providers to ensure smooth administration.
• Prepare HR documentation such as offer letters, contracts, and policy manuals while ensuring compliance with employment laws.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Hands-on experience in HR or administrative roles, with a strong understanding of payroll processes.
• Proficiency in ADP payroll systems; familiarity with ERP platforms like Oracle NetSuite.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS tools.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated ability to manage HR policies, employee relations, and compliance audits effectively.
• Skilled in coordinating training programs, workshops, and employee development initiatives.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment regulations, including I-9 compliance.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
• Bilingual in Spanish, in addition to prior experience supporting a diverse workforce.
