As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will have the opportunity to help create a secure environment for residential communities by conducting routine patrols throughout the location. Your presence will help to deter potential security-related incidents, while you interact with residents and visitors to provide outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for safely operating a vehicle during your patrols. What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to residents and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the residential location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Observe and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual activity to the proper channels in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
  • Work collaboratively with property management and local law enforcement when appropriate to address concerns within the residential community.
  • Remain visible and approachable while on patrol to offer assistance and foster a welcoming environment for residents and guests.
  • Adapt to varying working environments and conditions as required by the residential location.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
