Human Resource Workers Compensation Lead
The Human Resource Workers Compensation Lead is the organization's primary subject matter expert for Workers Compensation across all Bronson entities. This position coordinates the administration of claims, manages vendor relationships, and ensures compliance with relevant regulations. Working in collaboration with Legal, Environmental, Safety, Quality, HR, and Operations, the role supports timely case resolution, trend analysis, and safety improvements. The HR Workers Compensation Lead plays a critical role in improving the employee experience while supporting organizational risk mitigation and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead end-to-end administration of Bronson's Workers Compensation program including timely coordination, documentation, and resolution of claims.
- Serve as the primary liaison for the third-party administrator (TPA), legal counsel, and medical providers to ensure effective service and cost management.
- Oversee OSHA reporting requirements including data tracking, analysis, documentation, and audit preparedness.
- Provide consultative support to HR and operational leaders on return-to-work planning, ADA considerations, and leave coordination.
- Maintain accurate and confidential Workers Compensation records in Workday, generating reports and dashboards as needed.
- Monitor injury trends and collaborate with safety and operational teams to develop prevention and training strategies.
- Participate in cross-functional committees and meetings as the Workers Compensation representative providing insights and guidance.
- Stay current on regulatory changes and legislation related to Workers Compensation and OSHA recommending policy or procedural updates as needed.
Additional Responsibilities :
Support HR leadership with initiatives to streamline Workers Compensation processes and improve the employee experience.Collaborate with internal stakeholders on system and workflow enhancements particularly within Workday and related modules.Promote effective use of Workday's Absence and HR Help tools for case management.Contribute Workers Compensation expertise to broader HR team efforts and special projects.Perform other duties as assigned.Required Skills / Abilities :

A minimum of 10 years of human resource experience with 3-5 years' Workers Comp experience.A bachelor's degree in business administration or human resources or other related area required.SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential preferred.Physical Requirements :
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
