As a Logistics Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in making sure our fleet, drivers, and operations run smoothly—keeping our promises to customers and supporting the success of our stores.
What You'll Do
As a Logistics Coordinator, with Outdoor Living Supply, you'll be at the heart of our operations—ensuring products move seamlessly from our suppliers to our stores and ultimately to our customers. You'll oversee drivers, trucks, and assets with precision, all while keeping service and efficiency at the forefront. This is a dynamic role where quick thinking, strong coordination, and a passion for problem-solving are key. Your day-to-day will include :
- Oversee drivers, deliveries, pickups, and dispatch schedules
- Adjust schedules dynamically in response to order changes or delays
- Partner with mechanics and store teams to minimize downtime and maintain fleet readiness
- Ensure drivers logs are reported for payroll in a timely manner
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of driver timecards weekly
- Maintain and audit driver logs, mileage / fuel records, and delivery fee accuracy
- Partner with Mechanic Supervisor to assure compliance with pre-trip and post-trip inspection reporting
- Identify potential suppliers, conduct market research, and analyze supplier capabilities to ensure the procurement of high-quality goods at competitive prices
- Build strong vendor and supplier relationships to ensure competitive pricing and reliable sourcing
- Analyze pricing proposals, evaluate cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize procurement costs without compromising quality or delivery schedules
- Responsible for communicating and rolling out new company programs and initiatives with drivers and ensuring they are compliant with these programs
- Manage performance related issues for drivers in partnership with Human Resources
- Partner closely with Human Resources for leave or seasonal layoff situations
- Create and deliver annual performance reviews for drivers
- Perform duties as requested by your supervisor

What You Bring
High School diploma or equivalentMinimum of 1 year of experience as a dispatcher or related fieldWorking knowledge of DOT / FMCSA rules and motor carrier regulationsExperience with California meal and rest period laws for Intrastate CDL DriversExcellent organizational skillsAttention to detail and accuracyStrong general math skillsAbility to handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to make quick and accurate decisionsProficiency in MS Office Suite, scheduling software, and other related softwareAbility to work under pressure in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of local roads and routes, ability to read and understand mapsMust be willing to travel up to 10%Physical Demands

Work is primarily performed in a climate-controlled office environment. Work will periodically require working outside in a distribution yard around vehicles that make moderate noise, and work would be subject to potentially hot or inclement weather.

Full-time position. 50+ hours per week.
Compensation details : 95000-97000 Yearly Salary
