The RN will provide direct patient care on a medical / surgical oncology unit, including chemotherapy administration, blood product management, and supportive oncology care. Requirements Active RN License – IN 2 years of RN experience ; oncology experience preferred Certifications : ACLS, BLS – required Skills : RB required; oncology background preferred EMR : Cerner Floating : Required Unit Details Unit Type : Medical / Surgical Oncology Beds : 24 Patient Ratio : 5 : 1 (occasionally 6 : 1) Call Requirements : Every other or every third weekend; holidays on a rotation schedule; no additional on-call requirements Job Summary The Oncology RN is responsible for providing safe, effective, and patient-centered care using the nursing process in accordance with hospital policies and the State Nurse Practice Act.
