General Position Summary

This position is responsible for growing sales in the North American territory by overseeing the daily operations of the sales team, sales partners, distributors, and direct end users. The role involves managing business relationships, training sales employees, developing effective sales strategies, and meeting quotas. Additional duties include preparing management reports, participating in strategic initiatives, and ensuring customer satisfaction through proactive support and solutions.

Essential Job Functions Core Responsibilities

Answer telephone calls and assist customers with inquiries.

Provide quotations for customers.

Handle customer orders and complaints promptly and professionally.

Identify and establish relationships with new sales partners and business alliances.

Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers.

Visit existing and potential customers to evaluate needs or promote products and services.

Conduct sales presentations to a range of existing and prospective customers.

Provide sales literature, drawings, and technical documentation as required.

Follow up, communicate, and negotiate with customers via phone calls, emails, online meetings, or visits.

Obtain purchase orders and prepare documentation for submittal approval processes.

Analyze and plan sales performance, targets, and strategy.

Maintain detailed activity logs, performance analyses, and market research reports.

Support design and execution of sales promotion activities (e.g., website updates, catalog production).

Analyze competitive sales activity and market trends to improve sales and marketing techniques.

Develop and implement new sales tools to promote products.

Prepare internal orders and related documents.

Generate monthly and annual activity reports.
