MIG Welder II
Quakertown, PA
Hourly Rate : $22.00 - $26.00 (This is an overnight shift with a $2.00 differential on top of hourly rate)
Hours of shift : Monday - Thursday 3 : 30PM to 3 : 00AM (4 nights- 10 hour shifts)
Responsibilities :
- Read and interpret shop drawings
- Gather and collect materials
- Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on specifications and ship drawings
- Accurately measure and cut miscellaneous materials
- Perform panel layout in accordance with drawings
- Pre-assembly panel components in preparation for weld
- Perform welds to ensure panel stays secured
- Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal or overhead)
- Secure wall assembly onto crane, lift of jigs and move to the next operation
- Attends and / or completes welder and safety training
- Maintains welding maintenance logs for welder certifications to remain current
- Perform sheathing of welded panels
- Other duties performed
