Job Description
Job Summary : The Dock Operator is responsible for the safe, efficient, and accurate loading and unloading of freight at dock and shipping areas. This role supports inbound and outbound logistics by operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move materials, perform inspections, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure compliance with all safety protocols. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and able to work in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution environment.

Education : Required : High School Diploma / GED Preferred : Forklift Certification; OSHA Certification
Qualifications : Minimum of 12 years of experience in warehouse, distribution, or logistics operations, preferably in a high-volume manufacturing or industrial environment. Proficient in operating powered industrial trucks (PIT), specifically walkie riders; forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain upon hire. Working knowledge of RF scanning devices and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) required. Basic computer literacy for logging inventory transactions and interpreting digital work instructions. Strong understanding of OSHA standards and safe material handling practices. Must demonstrate consistent adherence to safety procedures and housekeeping standards. Ability to identify inventory discrepancies, damages, and non-conforming product. Must be able to complete quality checks with a high degree of accuracy. Strong verbal communication skills required to interact with teammates, leads, and supervisors. Must be a collaborative team player with a willingness to be cross-trained in multiple warehouse functions.

The U.S. hourly rate of $19.87 - $23.66 an hour.
