Key Job Details – OR RN Travel Contract

Location : York, PA 17403 (Central Pennsylvania healthcare jobs)

Facility : Level I Trauma Center, General Operating Room (excluding open heart and neurosurgery)

Contract Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 12 / 15 / 2025 – End : 3 / 16 / 2026)

Shift : Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts / week (07 : 00 – 19 : 30)

Hours per Week : 36

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1850-$1890

Call Requirements : 4-6 calls per 6-week matrix (30-minute response)

Weekend Coverage : 4-6 weekend shifts per 6-week matrix (days / evenings / nights)

Holiday Coverage : Expected to work 2 of 3 major holidays

Patient Population : Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics

Facility Size : 18 OR rooms, 593 beds, daily census 50-60

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of recent Operating Room RN experience (OR nurse jobs)

Level I Trauma experience required; Level II Trauma experience (minimum 1 year) required

Previous travel nursing experience required

Active Registered Nurse license (Pennsylvania nursing jobs)

BLS certification (AHA or ARC only)

EPIC charting experience preferred

Proficient in both circulating and scrubbing roles

Experience with Da Vinci Xi robot (DV5 experience a plus)

COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical / religious exemptions considered)

Tobacco and fragrance-free facility

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

Independently manage cases in all specialties : Robotics, Orthopedics, General, GYN, Urology, Bariatrics, ENT, Plastics, Vascular, Thoracic, Trauma (excluding cardiac and open heart)

Scrub and circulate in complex surgical procedures, including robotic general, gynecologic, thoracic, and urology specialties

Respond to trauma cases and excel in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment

Participate in on-call rotation and provide timely response

Float to other units as needed

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams : IV, Physical Therapy, Respiratory, Radiology, Pharmacy, and more

Maintain strict infection control and safety protocols

Care for COVID-19 patients as required
